Alongside the ‘Children’s Plan’ the Government is currently supporting a huge push in the UK to encourage delivery of enterprise learning at primary school level.
Given the economic climate and the desire for the UK to spawn a future generation of class leading business creators, the future of the country depends on the successful implementation of these plans, in order to keep up with the fast moving global marketplace that is now connected via the web and technologies.
We are excited at being part of a major innovative learning programme offering new and exciting learning experiences.
The Localbiz Project, in conjunction with local business support, will help us deliver on these issues
- Providing an Enterprise Learning Initiative, linking Local Education with Local Businesses.
- This is achieved through the supply of a class-leading online community web-builder application into schools that our children can use to run and maintain a community website for everyone living locally.
Getting the whole community to be actively involved has been the cornerstone of the Localbiz developers philosophy and this has resulted in developing a community resource that everyone can use.
Features included
- News Stories about the school/community
- Events happening in the community
- Details of community clubs and organisations (not for profit) and have difficulty in advertising
Pupils will be involved in lots of locally based research activities that includes local business investigation, and creating colourful and exciting web pages.
The simple to use software makes it easy for pupils to keep it current—and advertise special deals!
